The surfaces are waterproof, alcohol resistant, non-yellowing and anti-microbial as well as having good heat resistance and excellent wear properties. They come with a semi-matt finish.
MASS1 is made to order. It is manufactured within the design guidelines set out in this web site, and is supplied direct to the customer.
The surface can be cut, moulded, shaped and drilled. It can also be fabricated on site.
It is quick and easy to order, with delivery times as good as most comparable materials.
The surface comes with a range of five different edge profiles and is available with cut outs for hobs and sinks (including undermounted sinks), and has the option of four types of drainer grooves.
It can be edged on one or more sides, with surfaces ranging in thickness from 15mm to 100mm and is readily availble in lengths of over 3 meters.
MASS1 weighs a lot less than solid site cast concrete and will be supported by most standard kitchen units even when 100mm thick. It's MDF core also allows for quick and easy site installation.
