Q. What is Corian?
A. Corian is a solid surfacing brand created by DuPont. Corian lends itself to imaginative uses, and enduring applications. It can be cut, routed, drilled, sculpted, bent, or worked like a fine wood. The ever-evolving color palette now extends to more than 100 colours. If you can imagine it, chances are you can create it with Corian.

Q. Can you send me a sample?
A. Yes

Q. Why is Corian a good value?
A. The beauty, durability, and long-term performance of Corian make it an exceptional value for any environment. It can be easily refinished to its original appearance if the surface is cut or scratched.

Q. Can I place a hot pot on to Corian worktops?
A. We do not recommend placing a hot pot directly on Corian. Although Corian remains stable and undamaged in temperatures up to 212ºF (100ºC), high heat or flame will damage Corian.

A. There are three types of countertop finishes: matte, semi-gloss and gloss.

Q. How much does Corian weigh?
A. 1/4" (6 mm) sheet = 2.2 pounds/square foot (11.5 kg/square meter)
